The Youth Ministry at Platt Springs UMC exists to bring youth:
~to KNOW Christ personally,
~to GROW in their relationship with Him, and
~to SHOW others the love of Christ.
Schedule of Regular Events

Wednesday Nights – Bible Study 6:30 pm
Sunday Mornings – Sunday School 9:45 am
Sunday Afternoons – Youth Activities 4:00-6:00 pm
At Platt Springs UMC our youth group consists of 6th-12th grade students. We would love to have you join us during any or all of our youth times of study and fellowship.
Sunday School classes
During Sunday School, the youth participate in discussions as we study the Bible seeking ways to live out God’s word in our daily lives.
Sunday Afternoon Studies & Activities
Sunday afternoons are a mixture of fellowship, Bible study, and games. From time to time the youth participate in a variety of outreach projects as they learn to go out and SHOW God’s love to the community.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Youth in grades 6th through 12th meet every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 during the school year. Students participate in the current Bible study and learn how to apply God’s word to their everyday life.The first Wednesday of every month, the youth assist in packing snack bags that are later delivered to local schools for students in need.
